Singing has always been one of my greatest passions. Shortly after the accident, doctors relayed the news to me that I would never be able to sing again because my stomach muscles are paralyzed. Miraculously, I can sing today and have recorded this album to provide inspiration to my listeners. 
 
The song "Over The Rainbow," is a classic. It is a favorite of many and has meaning to so many people in this world, especially me. When I had my accident, I thought my life was over. When I now look back to think that my school was practicing for the very production that this song came from, I see so many parallels between my story and the movie "The Wizard of Oz." Where Dorothy was thrown out of her comfort zone and filled with fear, and was determined to find home. Where the scarecrow, the tin man, and the lion found out that what they needed had been there all along. This movie, the themes and the characters, have many similarities in my journey and at times feel that this song, "Over The Rainbow," is my story. That the clouds will go away, the troubles will melt like lemon drops, and somewhere over the rainbow the dreams that I dare to dream really will come true.
