How My Family Supported Me After My Accident

Today, November 11th, marks 27 years since my accident. Every year, I do some personal reflection around my anniversary. This year, I want to talk about how my immediate family supported me in the days, weeks, and months immediately following that fateful day in 1997. When I took that step backwards, it didn’t just change my life forever - it altered the lives of my family, too. I would not be where I am today, without their love and support, and I have come SO far in these 27 years.
